Research Interests
Research in my lab is focused on
- Understanding how fish and shellfish innate immune systems respond to pathogenic stimuli;
- Lake trout morphotype life history, genomics and physiology;
- Development and analysis of yellow perch broodstocks for the aquaculture industry.
While this research addresses a number of biological fields many of the studies utilize the same molecular and cellular approaches.
